Q'vive offers new Project Management Basics course in partnership with Schoolcraft College.

 

Wixom, MI—December 5, 2011—Q'vive will be offering Project Management Basics in partnership with Schoolcraft College Continuing Education and Professional Development in the upcoming winter semester.  This 16-hour course is offered in addition to the successful Project Management Essentials and Exam Preparation course, which has helped students pass the PMP exam.

 

“We are pleased that our continued partnership with Schoolcraft College enables us to offer this course as there is increasing demand for effective project managers,” says Eric van der Meulen, President of Q'vive.  Project Management Basics benefits people that are new to project management, part-time project managers, accidental project managers, and project managers that need to refresh their knowledge and complement their skill sets.  The classes are very interactive and hands-on.”

The course instructor, Eric van der Meulen, PMP has extensive experience providing leadership and program management in product and process development, R&D, and engineering.  He has more than 15 years experience in project management for large and small companies, and internationally, both as functional leader and as consultant.  Mr. van der Meulen has developed and taught various project management courses and delivered on-site training for both corporate clients and local colleges.

Q'vive offers Project Management Professional Exam Focus course ahead of August 31 exam change.

 

Wixom, MI—June 7, 2011—Q'vive announced today that it will be offering PMP Exam Focus, a condensed Project Management Professional exam preparation course, at Schoolcraft College this summer.  This four-week, intensive training will cover the essentials of project management and prepare motivated individuals to take the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential exam prior to the upcoming change which takes effect August 31, 2011.

            The PMP Exam Focus course offers a unique opportunity to review the project management framework and exam content in a condensed format, learn about exam strategies, and practice exam questions.  “We are excited to offer this course to project managers motivated to pass the PMP exam ahead of the change that was announced by PMI,” says Eric van der Meulen, President of Q'vive.  “The course will be completed four weeks before the exam change takes effect, which allows ample time for self study and preparation.”

Project Management Course offered by Q’vive at Schoolcraft qualifies for training grant for unemployed workers, under-employed workers, dislocated workers and veterans.

 

April 29, 2011—Schoolcraft College Continuing Education and Professional Development continues to offer the Project Management course in partnership with Q'vive in the upcoming Spring/Summer semester.  This ten-week, intensive training program will cover the essentials of project management and prepare students to take the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential exam.
